I am Diana Sturm, and I am truly honored to share my journey with you. Over the years, I have cultivated a diverse range of skills and expertise that have shaped my path and passion.
My venture into the world of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and energy work began over a decade ago. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Guild of Energists Trainer, my heart is focused on guiding others through the remarkable journey of Tapping.
The captivating world of Tapping lead me to attain my Gary Craig EFT Certification and immerse myself in training with the Guild of Energists to become an Energy Trainer. My commitment to this technique has driven me to mentor both licensed professionals and individuals, empowering them to conquer seemingly impossible obstacles.
Beyond the realm of counseling and energy work, my interests expand into the realms of geology and business development. Armed with a Ph.D. in Geology and an undergraduate degree in business, I’ve also honed my skills in marketing and business strategies. Guiding numerous small businesses with development of marketing plans, business strategy, and grant writing has been both fulfilling and enlightening. I’ve proudly volunteered with the Women’s Business Center, a division of the Small Business Administration, contributing to the growth of aspiring female business owners (pre-Covid). I continue to offer business coaching for small businesses, incorporating tapping for blocks of imposter syndrome and perfectionism.
A relentless pursuit of knowledge fuels my spirit. My quest led me to earn a second Master’s degree, this time in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, followed by an Educational Specialist in Counseling degree. Presently, I thrive as an LPC in private practice, specializing in supporting those who’ve encountered trauma and dissociation. My telehealth counseling services extend to clients in Alabama and Florida.
Empathy and warmth are at the core of my being. I am dedicated to walking alongside others, helping them surmount hurdles and reach their aspirations. I draw from a rich tapestry of knowledge, experience, and compassion, fostering an environment of growth and transformation. My unwavering positivity and determination inspire everyone I meet. As a true polymath and lifelong learner, I am driven by an unyielding desire to uplift and empower others.
Through Somatic Tapping (formerly UpLifting EFT), I proudly facilitate “Introduction to Tapping for Licensed Professionals.” This specialized Tapping class focuses on the foundations from Classic EFT, a powerful technique developed by none other than Gary Craig, the visionary behind EFT. Modifications for behavioral health are included in this training.
My role as a Guild of Energists trainer extends to an array of captivating non-clinical energy classes, tailored for both individuals and coaches. Created by the esteemed Guild of Energists, these classes shift the focus to a positive paradigm, harnessing the potential of positive emotions and heightened energy levels to address various challenges. The beauty of these non-clinical classes lies in their inclusivity – they’re open to all.
